Kristellys

"No more you and me, they and we, just unity"

Kristellys was born in Venezuela and moved to and around South Florida later. She currently resides in Edinburgh, Scotland with her husband. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Religious Studies. Her convictions led her to pursue a Master’s in Urban Studies & Community Development where she focused her thesis project on post-conflict peacebuilding. She is planning to start a Masters in Public Policy at Univ. of Edinburgh in 2012.

She is driven by the opportunities given to her by her parents. Driven to work to allow every child an opportunity to live a fulfilled life. Driven to change the world, to serve, and to follow in the steps of many activists and heroes of great faith, love, courage, and kindness.

She wants to be in Africa at some point and she can’t wait to move back to the U.S. permanently to be with her many kitties and finally get a puppy or two, or three, or four! Her favorite thing to do is write music, she will never say no to pizza, and she must have nutella or oatmeal once a day. To balance, she loves running, yoga, zumba, the beach, any and all sports & nutritious vegetarian cooking.

Yashoda

“Through education, we will find progress.”

Yashoda is a graduate student working towards a Master of Public Administration and the Doctor of Philosophy in Public Affairs degrees concurrently at the University of Central Florida.  She received a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and Nutrition from Florida International University.  The areas of concentration during her academic career are Education, Health and Immigration.

Her interests and hobbies include exploring health and fitness, photography, coffeehouses, vegetarian cooking, baking, yoga, bodyrock and keeping up with current political events.  She loves to watch The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, The Colbert Report, The Big Bang Theory, Modern Family, Castle, Bones and Friends reruns.
